* aim for the bottom part of the board if possible, to allow gems to drop nicely. For instance below: bring E all the way to the left in 3 very fast consecutive moves. This will contribute greatly to blazing speed. It looks like the later-stage time gems only drop after lots and lots of gems have been cleared, probably this was done to make sure a game does not last too long. Ok, the key to high scoring is to slow down the timer with blazing speed as often as possible, while clearing the board and making time gems drop. * don't save special gems except when you know you filled the minute bar for the next level * keep the match chain alive, always aim for blazing speed * parallelization: select a move, execute it in the background while your eyes are selecting the next one That is frustrating, does anyone know more? I can do that, but sometimes I don't get rewarded with time. At x3 problems begin and from that point on time is running out fast.Īccording to some sources time gems are created by scoring big / clearing lots of gems in one move. X1 and x2 I find myself having lots of time gems, enough to fill the minute. But I don't understand what is making the time gems stop falling. Does anyone know about a supposed lack of time gems dropping after about 1m30s? I have been playing this mode quite a lot and it seems that getting through this period of sparsity is the key to scoring high.
